We are currently hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) with expertise in ICU and Emergency Department nursing for full-time contract assignments across Nova Scotia.
Position Information
Work in beautiful Nova Scotia with opportunities in Halifax, Sydney, Liverpool, and other communities!
This is a contract position with contract lengths typically ranging from 1 to 3 months (with the potential for extension). You will work across the province, including major hospitals and regional health centres.

Minimum Requirements
- Current registration and in good standing with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing (NSCN)
- At least 2 years of recent nursing experience in Canada in ICU or Emergency settings
- Reside in Canada and legally entitled to work in Canada
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- CLEAR Vulnerable Sector Search Report (within 6 months)
- Up-to-date immunization record in accordance with Public Health guidelines
Some positions will require:
- CTAS (Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- IV initiation and IV medication administration
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) or equivalent
- Critical Care Certificate (required for ICU RNs)
Important Notes
- This is a fixed-term contract (1β3 months) with the potential for extension
- Accommodations and travel expenses are covered
- Nurses who have already worked 180 shifts in Nova Scotia since December 15, 2023 are not eligible at this time
